Fees are paid prior to your session. Visa, Mastercard, debit card, e-transfer and cash are all accepted payment methods. Personal cheques are not accepted.
Provincial health insurance programs do not cover fees for psychologists in private practice. Extended medical insurance plans may cover such fees. Clients are responsible for determining if their extended medical insurance plan will reimburse for fees. CRUX provides receipts for reimbursement from extended medical insurance plans. Fees not covered by extended medical insurance plans may represent tax-deductible medical expenses.
We typically offer direct billing through workers’ compensation boards, Veterans Affairs Canada, Canadian Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Mounted Police. We serve Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island in French and English.
