Kerry Bernes, Ph.D., Registered Psychologist

Dr. Kerry Bernes is a highly regarded clinical psychologist, with a Ph.D. from the University of Calgary. He is a tenured full professor of Educational and Counselling Psychology at the University of Lethbridge and has over 25 years of experience in assessing and treating clients. He holds the prestigious designation of a Board Certified Specialist in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. His research interests focus on career development, career planning and sport psychology.

At CRUX, Dr. Bernes offers online treatment and assessment services through easy-to-use technologies like Zoom. He treats various problems, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, separation and divorce (especially with men), sports psychology, stress management, grief, obesity and weight loss, career development, and relationship counselling. Dr. Bernes also specializes in treating trauma, abuse and neglect and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
