Lucas Eberhardt De Master, Psy.D., Registered Psychologist

 

Dr. Lucas Eberhardt De Master is a registered clinical psychologist specializing in assessing and treating insomnia and other sleep problems, such as circadian rhythm disorders, chronic nightmares, positive airway pressure therapy adherence problems and hypersomnolence disorders. He also brings extensive experience in providing cognitive-behavioural therapy to adults for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, loneliness, grief and loss, obesity and weight-loss, health anxiety, social anxiety, low self-esteem, self-criticism, fears and phobias, panic and pain. And he treats adults with challenges such as burnout, stress, work problems, procrastination, perfectionism and executive dysfunction.

 

Dr. Eberhardt De Master completed his doctorate (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University with an emphasis in health/medical psychology. He also earned the prestigious designation of a Board Certified Specialist in Behavioural Sleep Medicine. When treating sleep disorders, he takes a holistic approach, identifying and addressing the behavioral, psychological and physiological factors that impede healthy sleep.

 

With a deep respect for each client’s personal experience, Dr. Eberhardt De Master uses interventions grounded in science and tailored to individual strengths. He strives to collaborate closely with his clients’ medical providers to support improvement and growth.

 

He assesses and treats adolescents (12 to 18 years of age) and adults (19 years of age or older) for sleep concerns and adults (19 years of age or older) for all other problems.
