Harshita Jain, M.A., Psychologist, Candidate Register

Ms. Harshita Jain holds a Master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology and brings a strong foundation in psychological research to her clinical work. As a published researcher in mindfulness, empathy, decision‑making and cognitive processes, she integrates scientific insight with practical, evidence‑based therapy. She approaches each client with curiosity, clarity and a structured, goal‑oriented mindset, helping them make sense of their experiences while building concrete tools for meaningful change.

Ms. Jain works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, panic, stress and burnout, executive functioning challenges, self‑esteem difficulties, grief and loss, relationship concerns, academic and work‑related stress and adjustment difficulties. She also supports individuals navigating substance and alcohol use concerns, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), health anxiety, anger and the emotional impact of postpartum changes.

Her therapeutic style is analytical, practical and collaborative. Ms. Jain helps clients to understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions and behaviours, and to develop realistic, sustainable strategies to improve their well‑being. While her work is grounded primarily in cognitive‑behavioural and behavioural approaches, she also incorporates human‑centric and mindfulness‑informed principles to support lasting change.

Ms. Jain brings a deep awareness of cultural nuance to her work. She recognizes how culture, values and lived experience shape the way people understand distress, relationships, expectations and healing. She is especially mindful of providing care that is responsive, respectful and meaningful for clients from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating identity, migration and cross‑cultural adjustment.

In addition to therapy, Ms. Jain provides psychological assessments for adolescents, young adults and adults. Her assessment work includes evaluations for ADHD, anxiety, depression, executive functioning challenges, personality and cognitive abilities. She also offers psychoeducational assessments and diagnostic assessments to support clarity, planning and evidence‑based treatment recommendations.

At CRUX, Ms. Jain provides individual therapy and assessment services in-person and online through easy-to-use technologies like Zoom. She provides therapy for adults (19 years of age or older) and assessment services for adolescents (11 to 18 years of age) and adults (19 years of age or older).
