Siren Busch, M.A., Registered Psychologist

 

Ms. Siren Busch is a Registered Psychologist with more than two decades of clinical experience supporting individuals through trauma, stress, injury and significant life transitions. 

 

Ms. Busch began her career in leading hospital-based settings, including the University Health Network (UHN) and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Working across inpatient and outpatient programs, she developed extensive expertise in the assessment and treatment of psychological and physical health challenges. In 2013, she transitioned into private practice to offer more personalized, flexible care tailored to each client’s unique needs and recovery goals.

 

She offers evidence-based treatment and draws on modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), exposure therapy and mindfulness‑ and motivation‑based strategies.

 

She is committed to providing compassionate, collaborative care that supports clients in restoring well‑being, resilience and meaningful engagement in their daily lives.

 

At CRUX, Ms. Busch provides individual therapy services online through easy-to-use technologies like Zoom. She works with adults (19 years of age or older). Ms. Busch is a licensed psychologist registered with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology and College of Psychologists of Ontario. Psychologists who are fully registered in other Canadian jurisdictions (such as Ontario) can provide online services to residents of other provinces. Ms. Busch works with clients from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario.
