Dr. Koszycki’s approach is guided by best practice. She works with her clients to set treatment goals and tailor interventions to their needs. She uses evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and interpersonal therapy (IPT). CBT helps people examine the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. IPT helps people better manage loss, grief and interpersonal stressors and improve the quality of interpersonal relationships. When beneficial to her clients, she includes aspects of mindfulness-based interventions, supportive psychotherapy and spiritually integrated therapy.
